General Handyman

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Handyman to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of various residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment by performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks. Duties Conduct general repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting. Utilize schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot issues with equipment or infrastructure. Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to diagnose and repair systems efficiently. Perform facilities maintenance tasks including HVAC checks, lighting repairs, and preventative upkeep. Supervise small teams or contractors during specific projects, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Maintain accurate records of work performed using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour
