We offer growth opportunities and room for advancement. This facility produces hot dogs, cocktails, and sliced meats. Benefits Effective Day1! The starting pay for this position is $21.50/hour plus $.80 shift differential for 3rd shift.Position Summary:
This position will perform various operational functions that constitute the production and inspection of hot dogs, cocktails wieners, or sliced deli meat for Tyson.Responsibilities:
Performs job assignments following established safety policies and procedures. Transfer cooked meats from the cook and chill process. Package and seal boxes. Place and lift products on necessary equipment. Visual inspection of the product to make sure it meets the production standards. Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards. Remove rejected items from machine and separate rejected items. Push designated buttons to stop or reset equipment if issues occur, clear minor jams, and notify a supervisor Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials. Wipe condensation as needed and maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned sites. Clean and sanitize all process equipment throughout the plant. Transport trash and waste to the disposal area. Clean, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors. Follow job rotations and other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Ability to work overtime and weekends and be willing to accommodate shift start time changes. Must be willing and able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to repeatedly push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. The Team Member will work in wet, humid, cold, and hot environments. The Team Member will work in a refrigerated area with an ambient temperature of 34 degrees. The Team Member will walk or stand for 8-10.5 hours per day on hard floors. The Team Member will work in an environment with the sight and smell of meat products or any other product present when processing meat such as blood, fat, bone, or spices. Applicants can be placed in any of our roles within our General Production Labor, Packaging Labor, Frank-O-Mat Labor, Peeler Labor and Sanitation Labor. Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
