Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a dynamic frac sand facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in mining or excavating settings and possess mechanical knowledge to assist in various production tasks. This role involves working with hand tools, power tools, and machinery to ensure efficient operations on the mine site. Responsibilities Operate and maintain machinery and equipment within the mining facility. Assemble components and products according to specifications. Fabricate parts as needed for production processes. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist in loading and unloading materials using forklifts/skidsteers when necessary. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality. Qualifications Previous experience in mining or excavating environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating skid steers is an advantage. Ability to work effectively on an assembly line with attention to detail. Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
