Job Description

Job Title:
General Laborer - Precast Concrete Manufacturing Job Description This role supports the safe and efficient production of high-quality precast concrete products in an industrial manufacturing environment. You will work as part of a hands-on team, performing a variety of tasks that include preparing molds, handling concrete products, basic carpentry, and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities Strip and clean concrete forms and finished concrete products to prepare them for reuse or further processing. Prepare steel molds for filling with concrete, ensuring they are clean, properly assembled, and ready for production. Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed to support the fabrication, adjustment, or repair of forms and molds. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete daily production tasks. Support the safe and efficient production of precast concrete products that meet high quality standards. Carry out facility maintenance and housekeeping duties to keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work. Handle materials and products throughout the shift, including periodically lifting items up to 40 pounds. Essential Skills Experience in manufacturing or construction environments preferred. Ability to work safely with concrete, precast molds, and related materials in an industrial setting. Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools used in construction or manufacturing. Basic carpentry skills to assist with building, adjusting, and maintaining forms and molds. Knowledge of basic math and measurements to support accurate production and setup. Ability to read and write simple instructions and production notes. Ability to communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure safety. Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds periodically throughout the day and perform physically demanding tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in concrete work, general labor, or construction is an asset. Comfort working in an industrial manufacturing environment with both indoor and outdoor tasks. Reliability and strong work ethic, with a focus on safety and quality. Work Environment The role takes place in an industrial precast concrete manufacturing facility with both indoor and outdoor work areas. You will work closely with precast concrete molds and related equipment in an environment that involves heavier, physically demanding tasks, including regular material handling and lifting. The setting is hands-on and production-focused, with exposure to concrete, tools, and machinery, and requires adherence to safety procedures and appropriate work attire suitable for an active industrial environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
