General Laborer-Picker

We are currently seeking a general laborer in our Cut & Punch Department that will be responsible for taking on manual tasks and support operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Remove laser cut steel parts from cut sheet. Use provided list to verify part count. Perform quality check on punched/cut parts. Stack and organize components to ensure proper flow for production. Pull parts from warehouse inventory as needed to complete jobs. Issue travelers for pull/stacked parts. Utilize forklift to dump material into recycling. Keep recycling area clear of debris and hazards.

• Notify appropriate individual when recycling hopper is full.
• Observe & follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules, while seeking continuous improvement.

Requirements and Skills:

• A strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• A minimum of one year forklift experience is required.
• Ability to lift 50-75lbs consistently.
• Must be able to organize and prioritize.
• Must be able to operate a forklift.
• Must be a team player but able to work well independently in a fast-paced production environment.
