General Maintenance (Part Time)

This is our part-time maintenance offering. We are also offering a full-time position. Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled General Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of our facilities through comprehensive maintenance activities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced setting that values quality and reliability. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers. Conduct mechanical repairs involving pumps, motors, conveyors, or HVAC systems with precision. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using our electronic ticket management system. Oversee facilities maintenance projects including painting (residential style), carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs. Supervise or assist with team members on various tasks while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Support manufacturing operations by maintaining production equipment and minimizing downtime. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in electrical work, including understanding schematics and using tools like ohmmeters for testing circuits. Ability to read technical schematics and manuals accurately. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for minor aesthetic repairs or touch-ups within the facility. Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance setting. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks effectively across teams. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters confidently. Strong customer service orientation with a focus on safety and quality standards.
