Job Description Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities Maintains distribution operations through daily maintenance, cleaning, and general repairs of warehouse facilities and equipment. Collects feedback from management and participates in discussions around improvement projects and activities. Communicates in collaboration with department managers on instruction to ensure that associates are following training and safety standards. Compiles electronic records on maintenance projects within the distribution facility; provides status updates on project completion. Monitors the ongoing maintenance and service of equipment, forklifts, and/or vehicles within the distribution facility. Observes the distribution team and working conditions to determine if recommendations can be made to improve operations. Organizes facilities for the distribution department and conducts preventive maintenance activities. Performs work order repairs, inspections, and adjustments and follows routine maintenance schedules. Documents schematics to help maintenance technicians navigate through projects for electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous Specialized/Technical Training Required within some or all of the following areas:
  • Low Volt/High Volt Electrical
  • Mechanical
  • Pneumatic
  • Hydraulics
  • Heavy Equipment Repair
  • Lock Out/Tag Out
  • Welding
  • Blueprints Prior Relevant Work Experience 2+ Years Pay Range Determined with Previous Experience Essential Qualifications Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills Essential Qualifications Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills Ability to Work on a Team.
Safety-Orientated Mindset Ability to Work in a Fast Paced Environment Reliable and Accountable Additional Qualifications Ability to read, write and count accurately Ability to lift 40+ lbs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Good written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of basic mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance You should be comfortable working in warehouse environment, which includes seasonal temperature changes, rolling equipment, and conveyors Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
