We're a high-energy social entertainment venue featuring craft cocktails, elevated comfort food, arcade games, pinball, bocce ball, shuffleboard, private events, and an atmosphere built around experiences. We're looking for a hands-on, hospitality-driven General Manager who thrives in fast-paced environments, leads from the floor, and knows how to build strong teams and unforgettable guest experiences. Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of Rec Haus. This role oversees front-of-house operations, staffing, financial performance, service standards, and team culture while ensuring every guest has an exceptional experience. This is a leadership role for someone who: Loves hospitality Leads by example Can manage high-volume operations Understands bars/restaurants + entertainment venues Is highly organized and accountable Knows how to motivate teams and drive sales Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Lead all day-to-day operations of the venue Maintain high standards for hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and execution Actively manage floor operations during peak shifts Ensure strong communication between FOH, bar, kitchen, and events teams Handle guest escalations professionally and quickly Build and maintain a positive, high-performance culture Team Management Hire, train, coach, and develop staff and managers Create and manage weekly schedules Hold team members accountable to performance standards Conduct meetings, evaluations, and ongoing training Help create future leaders within the company Financial & Administrative Manage labor costs and operational efficiency Oversee alcohol ordering and inventory systems Monitor sales performance and help drive revenue growth Ensure accurate cash handling and nightly reporting Maintain compliance with health, liquor, and gaming regulations Guest Experience Create memorable guest experiences every shift Ensure smooth execution of events, parties, and large reservations Maintain strong online reputation and service consistency Help develop promotions, specials, and community engagement Qualifications 3+ years of restaurant/bar management experience Previous GM or AGM experience High-volume hospitality experience strongly preferred Must be proficient using Toast POS Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing labor, scheduling, and inventory Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure Nights and weekend availability required Passion for hospitality and guest experience What We Offer Competitive salary Performance-based bonus opportunities Growth opportunities within the company Fun, energetic work environment Staff discounts and perks Opportunity to help shape a growing entertainment brand To Apply Send your resume and a short introduction explaining: Your management experience Why you'd be a great fit for Rec Haus Your favorite part of hospitality We're looking for leaders who bring energy, accountability, and a genuine passion for creating great experiences.
