POSITION SUMMARY
Leads all aspects of the HMS business in the Phoenix division to ensure Associate development, operational delivery, agreement base growth, and overall profitability.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in commercial/industrial HVAC field or similar business 3-5 years operations and strategic management experience Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to lead senior leaders, front line leaders, and staff Financial acumen: P&L responsibility for $20 Million+ business Strong change management skills Bachelor's Degree preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned that are not included in the job description: Leadership Leads the Phoenix market with a servant mindset, identifying and meeting the legitimate needs of the Associates under their care Pursues continuous development in their leadership skillset through reading, peer groups, trainings, and other resources; this pursuit is characterized by humility and an understanding that leadership is a profound responsibility Embraces and champions the vision of being infinitely driven, never satisfied, and continual pursuit of excellence Utilizes weekly one-on-one coaching to develop direct reports, promote their growth, and hold them accountable to their commitments; conducts clear performance evaluations and ensures direct reports understand what is expected Promotes strong collaboration between market operations and sales teams, as well as productive working relationships across Haynes departmental teams Adapts market structure and positions to effectively support revenue growth and client satisfaction Continually strengthens and maintains a network of industry contacts to support recruiting efforts Builds rapport and productive working relationships with customers, vendors, and other outside agents Consults with Human Resources to ensure personnel actions are appropriate (i.e. hiring, firing, promotions, demotions, compensation, etc) Annual Plan Redemption Redeem annual plan in sales bookings, revenue, gross profit, maintenance base growth, and net operating income Responsible for achieving division sales plan, partnering with sales managers, and mentoring Associates to achieve their sales goals Minimizes cancellation rate by proactively engaging with top accounts and directing sales and operations to promptly and effectively address client concerns Leads operations team in ensuring preventative maintenance delivery, timely repairs, and quality replacement projects through communicating clear priorities, effective pricing strategies, contract escalations, manpower planning and technical training Partners with operations and support staff to quickly and accurately bill clients, and supports collections efforts Systems and Processes Evaluates operating processes, procedures, and methods for effectiveness as the business grows, and recommends/implements change as needed Quickly learns and gains mastery of company software stack to gather, analyze, and act upon operational and financial data Identifies inefficiencies and obstacles affecting the team and clients, and works diligently to resolve them in a timely manner Safety Promotes company's culture of Safety by Choice, not by Chance Holds self and staff accountable for compliance with OSHA standards, and company protocols set forth in the Loss Control Manual Actively supports the Safety Manager's training efforts
COMPENSATION
Base salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 + bonuses; depending on proven experience/proficiency. Compensation package includes a base salary plus monthly car allowance and annual bonus plan based on client and associate retention and profitability of business. Position also includes eligibility for the long-term incentive program based on experience and company performance.
