We are actively building a leadership team capable of scaling operations, elevating member experience, and helping shape the future of fitness in South Texas. Role Description Gentry Gym is seeking a high-level operational leader to oversee the daily execution, staffing, accountability, and overall operational performance of one of South Texas' fastest-growing independently owned fitness facilities. This is not a front desk management position. This role is designed for someone capable of leading a multi-department operation, building systems, holding teams accountable, improving operational consistency, and helping scale a rapidly growing business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, systems-oriented, and capable of leading both people and operations at a high level.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all day-to-day gym operations
  • Lead and manage department staff and team leads
  • Build and manage employee schedules
  • Oversee payroll and staffing accountability
  • Enforce company SOPs and operational standards
  • Ensure exceptional facility cleanliness and presentation
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and vendor communication
  • Monitor member experience and resolve escalated concerns
  • Oversee operational reporting and KPI tracking
  • Improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiency
  • Assist ownership in scaling the business operationally
Qualifications:
  • Leadership or management experience required
  • Experience in operations, hospitality, retail, fitness, or multi-department management preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead teams and enforce accountability
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with scheduling and team management systems preferred
