We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our team and drive the success of our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, and uphold the highest standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire a team committed to delivering memorable dining experiences in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management to ensure smooth daily functioning. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards. Implement and monitor food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards. Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Train, develop, and motivate staff through effective onboarding, ongoing training programs, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team. Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours while controlling labor costs. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Conduct regular staff interviews and hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with the restaurant's values. Oversee kitchen operations including food production, culinary standards, and ensuring consistent quality across all menu items. Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, marketing initiatives, and special events such as banquets or catering services. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management with strong supervisory skills in quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food handling safety procedures. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling is essential. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize operational efficiency. Strong leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, team management, and supervising diverse teams. Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences. Background in kitchen management or culinary experience is highly desirable; familiarity with fine dining or hotel food service is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
