General Manager - Restaurant

Duties Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality food presentation. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols to uphold excellent standards. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste. Oversee Toast system to ensure accurate order processing and cash handling. Implement shift management strategies to optimize staffing levels and enhance operational efficiency. Enforce food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health department standards. Conduct staff interviews, training sessions, and performance evaluations to develop a motivated team. Monitor financial performance through budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to maximize profitability. Coordinate with kitchen management on food production, catering events, banquets, and special promotions. Foster a positive guest experience by addressing feedback promptly and maintaining a welcoming environment. Requirements Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and food handling safety standards. Hands-on experience with POS systems; strong cash handling skills. Demonstrated leadership in supervising teams within the food industry or hospitality sector. Strong background in food service management, including inventory control and budgeting. Excellent communication skills for staff training, guest interaction, and team collaboration. Experience with kitchen management, culinary operations, and supervising food production processes. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in both casual dining and fine dining contexts. $61,563.01 - $74,140.40 per year
