Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager to lead our bustling restaurant operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily restaurant functions, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the food industry, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in restaurant management. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will drive team motivation, elevate guest experiences, and ensure the restaurant's success in a fast-paced environment. Duties Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team. Oversee inventory control, food safety compliance, and food handling procedures to minimize waste and maximize profitability. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting. Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth transitions between teams while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Implement budgeting strategies, monitor expenses, and optimize operational costs to meet financial goals. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by ensuring cleanliness, safety protocols, and adherence to health regulations across all areas of the restaurant. Develop marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain loyal guests. Conduct staff training sessions on food safety, customer service excellence, culinary techniques, and food production processes. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold the restaurant's reputation for outstanding hospitality. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and hospitality management. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential. Demonstrated supervising experience in quick service or fast food restaurants; casual dining or fine dining experience is a plus. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster team development through interviewing, training & development initiatives. Excellent organizational skills with experience in inventory control, budgeting, and shift management. Knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and proper food handling procedures. Background in catering or banquet services is advantageous; hotel or hospitality industry experience is desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer service.
