Wine N Cheese Day Spa is a luxury hospitality-driven spa experience located in Fairfield, CT, uniquely combining elevated spa services with a wine bar and charcuterie experience. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Spa General Manager to lead daily operations, team development, guest experience, and business growth while maintaining the high standards of our brand. This role is ideal for a strong leader who thrives in hospitality, understands luxury guest experiences, and can successfully oversee both spa and food & beverage operations in a fast-paced environment. This individual must lead by example while ensuring the spa consistently delivers exceptional hospitality and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop front desk, spa providers, bartenders, and support staff Create a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and sales performance Conduct team meetings, performance discussions, and ongoing training Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff development Ensure all employees understand company standards, policies, and guest service expectations Guest Experience & Hospitality Deliver and oversee exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently Monitor guest satisfaction, online reviews, and customer feedback Maintain luxury presentation standards throughout the spa, retail, and wine bar areas Drive guest retention, memberships, upgrades, and review generation Sales & Revenue Growth Develop and execute monthly promotions, spa programs, and event initiatives Build a strong sales culture focused on retail, memberships, add-ons, and elevated guest experiences Monitor KPIs including service provider utilization, average ticket, labor, and guest retention Support revenue growth initiatives while maintaining operational efficiency Operations Management Oversee daily spa and wine bar operations Manage daily inventories and scheduled inventory counts for spa and bar supplies Ensure compliance with operational procedures, sanitation standards, and company expectations Make owner-approved financial decisions including refunds and operational expenses Ensure proper execution of Vagaro and SpotOn systems for scheduling, reporting, and revenue optimization Qualifications Previous management experience in spa, hospitality, wellness, restaurant, or luxury service industries required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Sales-driven mindset with strong hospitality focus Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments Familiarity with Vagaro, SpotOn, or similar POS systems preferred Ability to multitask and lead by example Nights and weekends required based on business needs What We're Looking For We are looking for a leader who can inspire a team, elevate the guest experience, drive business growth, and maintain the high standards that define Wine N Cheese Day Spa.
