Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time General Mechanic to join our team. Our General Mechanics are critical to ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents.

Daily responsibilities include:

performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of mechanical systems throughout the community conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical responding promptly to work orders and requests from various departments to address mechanical issues and ensure resident satisfaction collaborating with the maintenance team to identify potential issues and implement solutions to enhance overall community safety and functionality. Our full-time General Mechanics are scheduled for 40 hours per week and will include weekend on-call rotation. Previous experience as a general mechanic or similar role is required. Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facilities-related equipment. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
