Job Title:
General Production Worker (Day Shift) Job Description The general production worker plays a key role in finishing windows before shipment. You carefully mark, tape, clean, wrap, and label products, and move windows safely throughout the production floor while protecting the glass and frames from damage. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that requires frequent lifting of 50-75 pounds, strong attention to detail, and prior production or general labor experience. Responsibilities Finish windows to company standards before they are shipped to customers. Mark, tape, clean, wrap, and label windows and related products accurately. Move windows and materials throughout the production floor while preventing damage to glass and frames. Perform general production, assembly, and packaging tasks as assigned. Inspect products for quality, identifying and reporting any defects or issues. Pack and prepare completed products for shipment in a neat and secure manner. Follow all safety procedures and use required protective equipment at all times. Maintain consistent and reliable attendance to support production schedules. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Work effectively as part of a team to move and lift heavy materials safely. Essential Skills Previous experience in production, general labor, assembly, or general production work. Ability to consistently lift or team lift 50-75 pounds safely. Strong attention to detail when marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, labeling, and inspecting products. Ability to follow safety procedures and prioritize safe work practices. Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production demands. Capability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment. Basic inspection skills to identify defects or damage in products. Ability to perform packing and packaging tasks accurately and efficiently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper material handling. Experience working in a large production or manufacturing facility. Comfort working as part of a team to move and handle heavy materials. Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of production tasks as needed. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
