Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth across our dealership. This energetic leader will develop strategic sales initiatives, cultivate strong customer relationships, and oversee all aspects of the sales process. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a passion for high-end sales, and a proven track record in automotive or retail sales management. Duties Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective coaching and performance management Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to expand the customer base and increase market share in B2B (business-to-business) and retail sectors Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting through closing deals, utilizing CRM software to track progress and optimize opportunities Conduct high-level negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining excellent customer service standards Oversee inventory management and inventory control processes to ensure product availability aligns with sales goals Facilitate outbound sales efforts including cold calling, outreach campaigns, and public speaking engagements to promote high-end products or services Support upselling initiatives by identifying customer needs and offering tailored solutions that enhance revenue Maintain strong relationships with dealership staff, marketing teams, and external partners to support ongoing sales support activities Utilize organizational skills to coordinate marketing efforts, manage retail math calculations, and ensure smooth operations across all sales channels Qualifications Proven experience in automotive or retail sales management with a focus on high-end or B2B sales environments Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals effectively Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases Demonstrated success in managing a robust sales pipeline using CRM software tools Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and phone etiquette, to engage clients confidently Experience in dealership operations such as inventory management, inventory control, and retail math calculations Knowledge of outbound sales techniques like cold calling and marketing strategies to generate leads Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently Background in automobile sales or related fields preferred; familiarity with retail sales processes is advantageous Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences Join us as a General Sales Manager where your leadership will inspire teams, foster growth opportunities, and drive success in a vibrant marketplace.
