Job Description

Position Summary The Genesee County Career and College Access Network Coordinator is responsible for coordinating career and college access resources in a strategic, efficient and accountable manner. The Career and College Access Coordinator is the primary connection between the Leadership Team (Greater Flint Educational Consortium Board of Directors) and the Network itself as well as other action team(s).
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in education administration. Successful experience of raising programmatic revenue such as grant writing and donor solicitation preferred. Supervisory and project experience preferred.
Skills/Other:
Evidence of accurate record keeping, financial management and data collection skills. Ability to utilize district technology, and work to maintain proficiency, as required skill sets change with technology and/or the needs of the district. Successful experience working with a diverse population. Ability to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with program goals. Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position. Ability to work a flexible work day, work week, and work year. Strong teamwork, interpersonal communication and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members. Discretion with confidential information. Must have a valid Michigan driver license, current automobile insurance and have the ability to travel to and from homes in the assigned geographical area. Represents the district in a professional manner at all times. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain a calm, poised, and professional image at all times. Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism at all times. Ability to exercise good judgment and make decisions in accordance with board policies and established administrative guidelines
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule:
