Girls Volleyball Coach (JV)

Triton High School is seeking a positive, knowledgeable, and student-centered Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach to support the development of student-athletes within the volleyball program. The JV coach will work closely with the varsity coaching staff to teach fundamental volleyball skills, promote teamwork and sportsmanship, and prepare athletes for advancement within the Triton volleyball program.

The successful candidate will help foster a competitive, inclusive, and supportive environment aligned with the mission and values of Triton Athletics and the Triton Regional School District.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoaching and Player Development

• Plan and conduct organized and effective practices focused on skill development and team play.
• Teach volleyball fundamentals including serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, defensive positioning, and game strategy .
• Develop athletes confidence, teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship . Prepare athletes for interscholastic competition
• Promote individual improvement and long-term player developmentProgram Support
• Work collaboratively with the varsity coaching staff to ensure consistency within the volleyball program
• Support the overall goals and philosophy of Triton Athletics
• Assist with supervision during practices, matches, transportation, and team activities
• Encourage academic achievement, accountability, and positive citizenship among student-athletesCommunication and Organization
• Maintain professional communication with athletes, parents, administration, and staff
• Assist with equipment management, uniforms, scheduling, and match preparation
• Monitor athlete eligibility and attendance requirements
• Attend required athletic department and league meetingsCompliance and Safety
• Ensure compliance with MIAA, Cape Ann League, district, and athletic department policies
• Promote safe training techniques and proper supervision at all times
• Complete all required coaching certifications, trainings, and background checksCommunity Representation
• Represent Triton High School and Triton Athletics in a positive and professional manner
• Help foster school spirit and community pride
