GIS Analyst 320 North Leroux Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001 $65,000

  • Full-time Education/Experience Requirements Must possess a bachelor's degree or certificate in GIS, Geospatial, or a closely related field.
Specialized experience may include, but is not limited to: Minimum of a year of professional experience preferred Experience with ArcGIS software and ArcGIS Online Suite of tools, including FieldMaps, FieldMaps Designer, and Survey123 Experience publishing databases to ArcGIS online Experience in managing and maintaining spatial data for multiple projects at once Experience with conversion of raw spatial data into final geodatabases for delivery to federal, local, and private clients Experience with multiple types of spatial data Capability to produce report level maps for cultural resource projects Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and apply decision-making skills Ability to work within defined schedules and meet deadlines Knowledge of cultural resources or environmental compliance Additional Qualifications that can provide preference: Experience with image analysis, complex spatial analysis, and data modeling Management of organization's ESRI account, including licensing and sharing processes for field projects Demonstrated ability in developing and managing multiple projects Duties and responsibilities These duties may vary depending on job assignment and firm needs. Manage spatial data that is collected as part of cultural resource projects in ArcGIS software and within ArcGIS Online Manage on-site electronics and related licenses. Create maps and geodatabases for inclusion in reports and for delivery to clients. Set up and manage ESRI field applications and equipment as required for all field projects. Update existing Survey123 surveys to include new projects and export collected information. Analyze collected spatial data at the end of field sessions to provide project updates to Project Managers. Maintain good working relationships with state and federal agency contacts and clients. Manage budgets and prepare proposals. Take initiative, resolve problems, and create improved procedures to ensure that tasks are completed in the most effective manner. Work to promote Cornerstone's business interests in adherence to its mission, vision, and values. Working conditions & Physical requirements Office work is required, which may include extended periods of sitting. Must be able to communicate clearly with others. Must be able to meet tight deadlines, working overtime if necessary. Must be able to see small detail and color variation. Must be able to commute to the Flagstaff office. Aspects of this job require regular in person attendance.
