CONSTRUCTION,GLASS ,GLAZING & METAL ESTIMATOR

: Growing metal & glass company looking for experienced individual to assist with estimating. The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of a project. The candidate will be familiar with our competitive advantages as an organization and will be able to communicate those to our benefit throughout the bidding process.

Qualifications and Experienced Required:

• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process
• Strong understand of door hardware and glass specifications
• Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates
• 5 Year minimum metal & glass estimating
• Experience with estimating and bidding Structural Glass Walls, Storefronts, Hardware, Metal and Skylight projects
• Excellent computer skills (Excel, BlueBeam, Procure)
• Presentable with sales skills
• Ability to write comprehensive emails
• Strong skills in blueprint reading,take-offs and compiling estimates
• Works well with others
• Ability to walk projects, take measurements and compile an estimate.
• Assist with project coordination
• Ability to review shop drawings & submittals
