Geriatric Nursing Assistant:

Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing) per policy Monitor and record vital signs, weights, intake, and bowel movements Observe residents and report physical or behavioral changes to nursing staff Assist with toileting, incontinence care, and repositioning every 2 hours Support safe lifting, transfers, and ambulation Maintain clean, safe resident rooms; change linens and handle laundry Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration; monitor intake Help with admissions, discharges, and room transitions Requirements of a GNA/CNA -

Geriatric Nursing Assistant:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to the three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Current Maryland state geriatric nursing assistant registration or CNA-I certification required.
