Golf Course Irrigation Technician

You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and installing irrigation components, contributing to the overall excellence of our course. Duties Inspect, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution across the course Install new irrigation components, including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers using hand tools and power tools Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment to prevent system failures and optimize performance Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex irrigation issues promptly Assist with general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks to uphold course aesthetics Operate excavation equipment such as an excavator for major repairs or system upgrades Support landscaping projects by installing or adjusting landscape features related to irrigation needs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems effectively Experience with irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair processes Knowledge of lawn care practices and landscape maintenance techniques Familiarity with landscaping tools, hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment like excavators Understanding of horticulture principles relevant to turf health and plant watering needs Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics related to irrigation systems Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to system troubleshooting This position offers an engaging environment where your technical skills will directly contribute to maintaining a world-class golf course.
