Gourmet Chef

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Gourmet Chef / Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. In our new state of the art Gourmet kitchen Shifts are Sunday

• Tuesday 7am
• 6pm and Wednesdayy From 7am
• 1 pm Responsibilities Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping Cook food in various utensils or grillers Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages Requirements Proven experience as a Cook Must have experience working in Assisted Living Company Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations Culinary school diploma preferred Ability to work in a team Excellent physical condition and stamina
