Gourmet Store manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage and supervise store staff, including cashiers and clerks
• Train and develop employees to provide excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment
• Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and POS system usage
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of cash registers and sales transactions
• Analyze sales data and implement strategies to maximize store profitability
• Collaborate with the assistant manager to create employee schedules and manage payroll
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in a retail management role, preferably as an assistant manager or store manager
• Strong knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
