Grain Department Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grain Department Manager to lead operations across our three grain locations while overseeing our grain merchandising team. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service to our producers and customers. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate daily grain operations across multiple locations Oversee grain purchasing, receiving, grading, storage, blending, and shipment Ensure grain quality, inventory accuracy, and efficient dryer operations Develop, price, and market grain programs and services Support and guide grain merchandisers on marketing strategies and contracts Monitor grain markets, basis, and risk exposure Set clear expectations and coach team members for success Build strong relationships with producers and customers Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and cooperative policies Track performance, manage budgets, and implement improvements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in grain operations, merchandising, or agribusiness Proven leadership and team management skills Strong knowledge of grain handling, storage, and quality control Understanding of grain markets, contracts, and risk management Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities Work Environment Mix of office and outdoor work Seasonal hours, including extended shifts during harvest Exposure to grain dust, equipment, and varying weather conditions Why Work With Us?
