Why This Role MattersEvery sample you test helps a farmer get fair value for their harvest. You'll be the quality checkpoint that ensures grains meet industry standards, protects the integrity of the supply chain, and uplifts the rural communities we serve.
What You'll DoTest and grade grain samples for moisture, weight, foreign material, mycotoxins, non-GMO traits, and moreAccurately record and communicate results to truck drivers, merchandisers, and farmersMaintain sample flow through the lab and support smooth grain operationsAct as a backup sampler/prober and handle all related paperworkServe as a trusted liaison between Eurofins, farmers, and grain companiesKeep the lab clean, safe, and compliant with health, safety, and environmental guidelinesStay up to date on USDA grain standardsContribute to a collaborative, ethical work environment that values every team memberQualificationsWho You ArePassionate advocate for agriculture and rural communitiesSafety-conscious in every task, keeping yourself and others protectedCustomer-service driven—always ready to assist farmers and clients with a friendly attitudeThrive in small-team settings, communicating clearly and pitching in wherever neededSkilled with computers (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and eager to learn new systemsHolder of a high school diploma or GED; 0-3 years of related experience is a plusAble to stand or sit for long stretches, lift up to 15 pounds, and navigate stairsProud to support farmers and rural livelihoods—with reliable transportation to our facility Work EnvironmentYou'll be working in a laboratory setting within an industrial facility.
