Grain Merchandiser Responsibilities:

• Capitalize on opportunities by making recommendations to management and staff regarding changes in the grain market
• Build relationships within the community and outside customers
• Trade a variety of crops: wheat, flax, canola, durum, corn, pulse crops, etc.
• Provide a summary and distribute information to other stakeholders in the company including accounting and facilities staff
• Monitor future markets on a regular basis

Grain Merchandiser Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of grain merchandising experience required
• Proficient in various software systems
• Strong communication and math skills
• Experience with crops that are typical throughout the region
