$16.00-$18.00 ALLFULL TIME POSITIONS
In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.FUNCTIONS STATEMENT
Assists the Purchasing Manager in overseeing and directing the staff and operations of the Ware House related to purchasing, receiving, storage, and inventory control.MAJOR DUTIES
- Promotes the most effective use of Casino funds in the acquisition of supplies/materials.
- Develops purchasing arrangements, which must be communicated to user departments and enterprises.
- Advises users of supply sources.
- Arranges for procurement on a pooled basis rather than department by department.
- Plans, directs, and organizes the operations of the Purchasing Department.
- Directs the purchasing function involving the evaluation and selection of equipment and supplies for the Casino.
- Coordinates the receiving and storage functions involving receiving, storage, and distribution of incoming and outgoing supplies and equipment as well as coordinate the delivery of the supplies and equipment.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory records and keep inventory levels within appropriate limits; oversee inventory control.
- Maintains regular contact with vendors in order to obtain and evaluate product and service information and to resolve complex and/or sensitive invoice discrepancies.
- Gathers data, conducts analysis and makes recommendations and decisions which may have significant impact on the purchase of capital equipment and supplies used throughout the tribe.
- Develops strategies to enhance distribution, minimize cost of supply utilization, and reduce inventory investments, while ensuring the availability of high-quality supplies and equipment and the avoidance of shortages.
- Acts as an advisor and resource to all departments/enterprises with regard to supplies, equipment and service needs.
- Expedite and follow up on orders placed on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure arrival of the products on a timely basis.
- Provide cost-benefit analyses to substantiate decisions in product selection.

KNOWLEDGEREQUIRED BY THIS POSITION
- Knowledge of merchandising, accounting, and marketing features.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures, including, purchasing, receiving, storage, inventory control.
- Knowledge of principles of communicating appropriately with the public.
- Knowledge of automated inventory control methods and visually taking inventory of items in warehouse.
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
FACTOR 2
SUPERVISORYCONTROLS
- Incumbent is under the general supervision of the Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Section, Department of Finance, Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Grand Casino Hotel & Resort.
- Supervisor assigns work on information regarding the objectives, priorities and deadlines.
- Incumbent handles all work independently according to established policies and generally accepted warehousing principles.
- Supervisor assigns work in terms of objectives and basic priorities and is available for consultation in resolving complex or controversial issues.
- Incumbent independently plans and carries out the projects and selects the approaches and methods to be used in solving problems.
- Completed projects are reviewed to determine that objectives have been met and are in compliance with higher authority policies and regulations.
FACTOR 3
GUIDELINES- Incumbent uses guides and employer standard operating procedures, in addition to handbooks, policies and precedents.
- Guidelines include Citizen Potawatomi Nation supply and equipment management regulations and directives, handbooks, precedents, and files of previous projects.
- The incumbent implements adaptations in dealing with problems and unusual situations always with the best interests of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and Grand Casino Hotel & Resort in mind.
- Guidelines may include the Systems of Internal Controls Manual.

COMPLEXITY- As the level of difficulty increases, the incumbent considers differences in the courses of action and refines methods or develops new techniques, concepts, theories, or programs to solve problems.
- Incumbent will frequently be faced with unusual circumstances and incomplete or conflicting data in addition to various staff and personnel who have special interests and individual priorities, which may conflict with existing policy and procedures.
- The level of difficulty will vary from mild to extremely intensive and complex circumstances on a routine basis.
- The incumbent is often required to depart from past approaches and to extend traditional techniques or develop new ones to meet major objectives and projects without compromising responsible methods and integrity principles.

SCOPEAND EFFECT
- The purpose of the work is to conduct sound, precise supply and equipment inventory and management and accounting methods and contribute to the generation of a profit by providing quality services to the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort.
- The work affects the bottom line (profit) of the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort and subsequently the reflection upon the image of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation as a successful entrepreneur.

PERSONALCONTACTS
- The range of contacts include ordinary citizens who come to enjoy the amenities offered by the property, to International dignitaries in addition to those dignitaries who represent the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, National Indian Gaming Commission.

PURPOSEOF CONTACTS
- The purpose of the contacts is to demonstrate that high standards of supply and equipment management and inventory practices are being implemented.
FACTOR 8
PHYSICAL DEMANDS- The incumbent will perform physical efforts such as climbing, lifting up to 70 lbs.

WORKENVIRONMENT
- The work environment is typical of that in a busy casino environment, warehouse, and office.
