To assist in administering and managing all grants and other accounting affairs of the school system.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Related Coordinates and supervises the activities of all state and federal grants. Completes the Maintenance of Effort Verification Report. Prepare monthly grant reports. Assist with monthly and year-end journal entries. Assist with yearly budget. Monitors and budgets the Special Revenue Funds. Receives and records all school board revenues. Monitors and safeguards the cash assets by securing pledges from banks. Prepares monthly bank pledge reports. Coordinates all banking activities. Prepares monthly certificate of deposit reports. Completes all other banking transactions such as money transfers, wiring of funds to other banks, etc. Invests idle money. Supervises and coordinates all oil & gas lease activities. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Group Medical, Dental, Life, and Vision insurance benefits. Prepares monthly Medical and Dental Insurance reports for the Budget/Finance Committee. Schedules the audits of all school activity funds. Prepares monthly Sales Tax reports for the Budget/Finance Committee. Assists in all other business functions as needed. Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities assigned by the proper authority. Instruction Works effectively with teachers. Assumes leadership in in-service activities. Related Responsibilities Discharges assigned duties. Concentrates effort in area of major responsibility. Is self-directed. Keeps abreast of current trends in education. Exhibits loyalty in the promotion of the system's goals. Reports job-related injuries within 48 hours of work accident to the Human Resource manager. "Job related injuries" include, but are not limited to, any accident or illness which involves loss of consciousness, restriction of work motion, or medical treatment. Develops and implements Individual Growth Plan annually. Completes a self-evaluation annually. Relationships With teachers. With school administrators. With central office staff. With community. Budgeting Process Assists in the budget process by recommending what items are to be placed in the operating budget. Accepts responsibility for seeing that actual expenditures for each line item of the budget stay within budget boundaries.PERSONAL QUALITIES

The manager oversees the maintenance of current records and reports as assigned. The manager projects a well-groomed, professional appearance. The manager accepts and implements assistance and resources designed to improve or enhance performance. The manager contributes to achieving the district's mission, engages in self-reflection and growth opportunities, and creates and sustains partnerships with colleagues and communities. The manager engages in self-reflection and growth opportunities to support high levels of learning for all staff and students. The manager is courteous to faculty, staff and the public. The manager recognizes and respects the rights and property of other employees and the public. The manager exhibits professional and ethical conduct. The manager exercises proper judgment and refrains from conduct which reduces or causes a loss of his/her effectiveness in the profession. The manager adheres to all deadlines set by board policy. The manager exhibits positive personal behavior and avoids improprieties or the appearance of improprieties. The manager maintains confidentiality of all matters related to student and employee matters. Reports job-related injuries within 48 hours of a work accident to the immediate supervisor.
