Job Description

Job Title:
Graphic Designer Department:
Creative /
Marketing Reports To:
Creative Manager Location:
FXR Racing —
Forest Lake, MN Employment Type:
Full-Time Pay Range:
From $55,000 to $70,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience
Travel:
Up to 10-15% for events, photoshoots, and dealer activations Our Background FXR was built by riders, for riders — and that DNA still runs through every jersey, jacket, and product we design. We're looking for a Graphic Designer who lives and breathes moto culture to join our Creative team and help keep FXR pushing to the front of the pack across motocross, snocross, and the rest of the powersports world. If you grew up at the track, know the difference between a whoop and a step-up, and your weekends smell like race gas — keep reading. This is a hands-on role for a creative who can hit the gate at full throttle. You'll execute design projects across the brand, work associate designers, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with marketing, product design, and athlete teams to put work out the door that looks fast and sells faster. What You'll Do Design Strategy — Partner with marketing, brand leaders, and product teams to translate goals, athlete stories, and race-season moments into design work that hits its mark with riders and dealers. Gate Drop to Podium — Take projects from rough sketch to final asset across print, digital, social, web, point-of-sale, athlete edits, and event graphics. If it carries the FXR mark, it should look the part. Brand Stewardship — Apply FXR brand guidelines consistently across every touchpoint while pushing the visual language forward season over season. Product & Campaign Launches — Own the design for product drops, paid performance ads, retail and dealer-facing executions, print ads in moto and snow titles, and internal/external comms that keep the FXR family in sync. Project Management — Juggle multiple projects without dropping the throttle. Hit deadlines, manage versions, and communicate timing clearly so marketing, product design, and athlete teams know exactly when assets are landing. Digital Execution — Build emails, site assets, landing pages, and social-first creative that drives conversion and gets riders fired up to hit "add to cart." Visual Content Creation — Design graphics, illustrations, infographics, and supporting visuals for campaigns, social, dealer presentations, and trade shows. Crew Collaboration — Work with cross-functional teammates and outside vendors — photographers, video, print partners, agencies — to deliver work on brand, on time, and on budget. What You Bring to the Gate Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field — or equivalent experience. 4+ years of proven experience as a graphic designer, ideally in action sports, moto, or snow. Strong portfolio that shows range — print, digital, packaging, social, and campaign work. Bonus points for snow, MX, or powersports samples. Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. After Effects and Premiere are pluses. Sharp eye for typography, color theory, layout, and detail — your work should look fast even when it's sitting still. Ability to produce quickly and accurately under deadline pressure without sacrificing quality. Excellent communication skills, both presenting concepts to leadership and explaining intent to teammates. Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a lot of moving parts. Familiarity with marketing, e-commerce, and brand principles. Motion graphics and video editing experience is a strong plus, not a requirement. Driven mindset — the kind of rider who doesn't let off the gas until the job's done. Lives and reinforces FXR brand guidelines across every project. Self-starter who can prioritize their own workload, flag risk early, and keep teammates updated on timing. Strong interpersonal skills — a positive teammate who works well solo or in the pits with the rest of the crew. Active participant in marketing team meetings, helping define design needs for the broader org. Hardworking, organized, and motivated. The Kind of Designer We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely understands the industry and the audience we design for. Whether you ride, race, wrench, shoot content at the track, or simply grew up around powersports, that experience matters here. Why FXR FXR is family-owned, athlete-driven, and built on the belief that the gear you wear should ride as hard as you do. We back the world's best motocross, snocross, and powersports athletes, we show up at the track, and we make product that performs from the gate drop to the last lap. Join our Creative team and you'll be designing work that ends up in dealer windows, on the back of pro riders, and across the screens of every kid who dreams about hitting a triple. Benefits FXR offers a competitive benefits package including: Medical & dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off and company holidays Generous employee gear allowance and pro-form discount Access to FXR-supported events and athlete activations Work Environment Standard creative office environment in our Forest Lake, MN facility, with occasional travel to outdoor events, photoshoots, and dealer activations in variable weather conditions. Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally for event setups and product handling.
How to apply:
If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a high-energy retail environment, we want to hear from you! and tell us why you're the perfect fit for our team. Please include samples from your portfolio, either PDF or link showcasing your strongest design work — especially anything in moto, action sports, or powersports. Cover letters are welcome but not required. Show us the work. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted. Equal Opportunity FXR Racing is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees and customers. FXR provides reasonable accommodation for applicants with disabilities throughout the application and interview process.
