• Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Grapple/Boom Truck Operator to join our dynamic construction and materials handling team, willing to train the right person.

In this role, you will operate specialized heavy equipment to safely lift, move, and position materials on railroad construction sites, warehouses, and shipping yards. Duties Operate grapple trucks, boom trucks, cranes, excavators, backhoes, and forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials across various job sites. Perform rigging tasks to secure loads properly for safe lifting and movement. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before use to ensure safety and operational readiness. Coordinate with team members to plan lifting operations and execute tasks efficiently. Assist with warehouse activities such as shipping & receiving, inventory management, and materials handling. Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance needs. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy equipment including cranes, boom trucks, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, and grapple trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction machinery and rigging techniques. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Ability to perform rigging tasks accurately and safely under supervision. Prior construction site experience is highly preferred. Knowledge of materials handling procedures within warehouse or shipping environments. Pass a drug test. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
