Grassroots Associate- Paid Canvasser

About the Role Are you looking for meaningful work and an opportunity to engage directly with communities across Wisconsin? Canvass America is hiring part-time canvassers to work alongside Americans for Prosperity (AFP) teams in support of AFP's grassroots advocacy efforts. In this role, you will speak with community members, share information about policy issues, help connect people with opportunities to take action, and support local grassroots engagement efforts. This position is employed by Canvass America. Canvass America handles hiring, onboarding, payroll, and employment administration for this role. Canvassers will work in coordination with AFP team members and may receive direction related to grassroots priorities, field locations, and community engagement goals. Essential Responsibilities Collect relevant data gathered from in-person conversations and accurately enter information into designated databases. Develop relationships with community members and help identify volunteers and community partners for Engagement Directors to connect with. Assist Engagement Directors with local events and grassroots activities as needed. Support logistics related to canvassing literature, materials, and outreach supplies. Provide feedback to supervisors regarding program activities, public input, and the effectiveness of equipment and tools used in the field. Engage community members through door-to-door canvassing and grassroots outreach efforts. Position Requirements Ability to walk 2-4 miles per day and climb a single flight of stairs, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work outdoors while canvassing door-to-door. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and networking skills. Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Willingness to perform all listed duties and additional assigned responsibilities. Ability to work remotely and in an office environment. Demonstrated integrity, humility, and entrepreneurial attitude. Additional Information This is a part-time canvassing role employed by Canvass America. Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
