Greenskeeper

Position Summary:

The position will run from May until November. Responsible for maintaining the course's greens, fairways, tee boxes, and other landscaped areas to ensure the highest standards of playability, aesthetics, and safety. The Greens Keeper will work as part of our team to assist in daily course set up and improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment Rakes and maintains sand bunkers. Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing. Perform general landscaping tasks, including trimming, planting, and mulching. Prepares soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material. Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up). Assists with golf course set-up procedures. Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris. Assist in course renovation projects and ongoing turf management. Performs skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.). Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas Work with the team to implement seasonal changes to the course's setup. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working in turf management, landscaping, or golf course maintenance (preferred). Must have a valid driver's license. Ability to operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment safely. Ability to work early hours, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Regular and reliable attendance
