Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Grill Chef and/or Sautee Chef, where your passion for food and exceptional cooking skills will shine! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality grilled dishes, ensuring every plate meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests, whether in a fine dining setting or catering events. We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is dedicated to delivering outstanding food service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents and grow within a vibrant food industry setting. Duties Prepare and cook grilled dishes with precision, maintaining consistency and quality across all menu items Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative grilling techniques and seasonal specials Ensure all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly followed during food preparation and service Support catering events by preparing large quantities of grilled foods while maintaining presentation standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and timely delivery of orders Maintain cleanliness of the grill station, utensils, and work area in compliance with health regulations Contribute to inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management of stock needs Skills Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices within the food industry Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques suitable for fine dining environments Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving in restaurant or hospitality settings Knowledge of food handling procedures, kitchen safety protocols, and sanitation standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations Plenty of overtime and company perks.
