Job Description

As a Grind Machinist, your primary focus is to configure and manage various grinding tools to manufacture components that strictly adhere to technical blueprints and operational directives. This role is situated at our Warsaw, IN facility and requires availability for the 2nd shift. Core Responsibilities Manage grinding machinery to ensure production output aligns with defined operational standards. Configure equipment setups by referencing technical blueprints and established guidelines. Utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers, calipers, and comparators to help ensure the highest quality standards for all manufactured parts. Troubleshoot dimensional variances and verify the accuracy of setups performed by fellow team members. Keep precise records of finished and discarded components while updating the internal tracking system to maintain inventory integrity. Follow all organizational protocols and safety regulations to help maintain a secure working environment. Perform additional tasks as requested by management. Required Qualifications Proficiency in utilizing measurement instruments including depth micrometers, height gauges, and calipers. Interpret technical blueprints and operational documentation to identify necessary production steps. Demonstrate a solid grasp of G & M programming codes. Maintain a high level of computer literacy. Exhibit effective communication skills for positive team interactions. Work independently with minimal oversight to boost overall team productivity. Demonstrate the physical capability to lift and transport loads up to 40 lbs. Maintain the physical stamina required to stand and move throughout the facility for shifts exceeding eight hours. Commit to working extra hours on a daily or weekly basis as needed. Possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent. Technical Proficiencies
