COPY LINK link Adecco is partnering with a local client in Ripon, Wisconsin to find reliable general production associates to work as a Grinders on 1st shift.

Pay:

$18.50/hr

Shift:

Mon-Fri 6am-4pm

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate and utilize grinding tools (including stand up grinder, hand grinder, file, etc) to remove excess material, burrs or imperfections from metal castings or other parts Perform quality checks on product Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues Clean work area at end of shift Assist in other production areas as needed Perform other related tasks as assigned

Physical Environment/Working Conditions:

Work in factory/foundry setting requiring bending, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (1-50 lbs). Expose to humidity, outdoor temperature extremes, noisy work areas, and vibrations. Requires good vision for both near and far.

Equipment and Machinery Used:

Stand up and hand grinders, shovels, brooms, files, and personal protective equipment (hearing and eye protection).

Requirements:

Ability to understand and follow directions Ability to read and write Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) Ability to hear, listen and speak clearly Previous manufacturing, foundry, grinding, or general labor experience preferred but not required Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment for extended periods of time Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime as needed

Pay Details:
