Grocery Associate

Duties Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing products, including produce and packaged goods, ensuring items are correctly labeled and faced. Operate RF scanners to track inventory levels, process shipments, and update stock records accurately. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by loading and unloading deliveries using pallet jacks or forklifts, maintaining safety protocols at all times. Manage inventory control through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and organization of storage areas to prevent shortages or overstocking. Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and helping shoppers locate items in the store. Maintain cleanliness of the store environment by performing routine cleaning duties and ensuring the checkout area is tidy. Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays, packaging products for sale, and ensuring promotional signage is current. Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory efficiently and keep the store well-organized. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse customers effectively. Experience with warehouse operations including heavy lifting, load & unload procedures, and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Familiarity with retail math for pricing accuracy and stock management. Knowledge of grocery store operations such as stocking, merchandising, cashiering, and shipping & receiving processes. Ability to operate RF scanners confidently for inventory tracking and control purposes. Good physical stamina for standing long hours, lifting heavy items safely, and performing maintenance tasks when needed.
