Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract role serving students as an Occupational Therapy professional, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy skills to make a real impact. You'll work closely with a supportive educational team, helping students reach their full potential by targeting fine and gross motor development and facilitating effective participation in their educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and online documentation Strong background in assessing and addressing fine and gross motor skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff Skilled at developing and implementing IEPs for students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services onsite and through teletherapy sessions Evaluate students' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies for school success Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Document all sessions and maintain compliance with school and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations with the multidisciplinary team Educate school staff and families on strategies to promote student independence Adapt to a dynamic educational setting, balancing schedules between in-person and remote service delivery This contract opportunity is ideal for someone prepared to embrace a diverse workload supporting students near Swisshome, OR.
