Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students while working in a supportive and collaborative environment! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a passion for school-based practice near stunning coastal scenery. You'll have the chance to work with children of varying abilities, empowering them to reach their highest potential both in and out of the classroom. Your expertise in pediatric gross motor skills, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions, and familiarity with teletherapy will ensure each child receives personalized, holistic care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapy license and relevant certifications Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric clinical setting Ability to deliver services in-person and/or via teletherapy as required Strong skills in assessing and developing gross motor plans for students Confidence in collaborating with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skillsWhat You'll Do:
Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans Provide OT services across diverse settings, including school, home, and virtual platforms as needed Implement therapies designed to enhance motor planning, self-care, and classroom participation Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines Foster inclusion and independence for students within their academic environmentBenefits & Perks:
