Ground Tree Crew Member (Entry Level)

Alfieri Tree Care is a family-owned arboriculture company serving Cape Cod, and we're looking for individuals with the right mindset and work ethic to join our team as Ground Crew Members. You do not need prior tree care experience. What matters most to us is reliability, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn. The technical skills can be taught. The attitude cannot. Our crew takes pride in their work, supports one another, and shows up every day ready to get the job done safely and professionally. What You'll Be Doing As a Ground Crew Member, you'll work alongside experienced arborists supporting professional tree care operations throughout the Cape.

You will learn how to:

Assist with tree pruning and removal operations from the ground Handle ropes and assist with rigging during tree work Load brush and logs and operate the wood chipper Use chainsaws and other equipment safely under supervision Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Support the crew so jobs run safely, efficiently, and professionally This is a hands-on, physical job that requires teamwork, focus, and attention to safety. Basic Requirements Valid Massachusetts Driver's License Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds regularly Comfort working outdoors in changing weather conditions Must be dependable and able to work as part of a team Must pass a pre-employment drug screening Experience in landscaping, construction, or other outdoor trades is helpful but not required.
