Assist with gardening activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while following horticultural best practices. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing necessary repairs to ensure proper watering schedules. Use landscaping equipment to install new features or improve existing landscapes, including soil preparation and mulching. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair, ensuring safety and aesthetic standards are met. Support general maintenance tasks such as debris removal, fertilizing, aerating lawns, and pest control to promote healthy growth. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and environmental standards. Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential. Familiarity with irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping tools enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows confidently; experience with power tools is a plus. Knowledge of plant care principles and landscaping best practices will help ensure high-quality results.
