Grounds Crew Team Member

Overview Spring Creek Golf Center is looking for a dependable, hardworking Grounds Crew Team Member to help maintain and improve our golf course and property. This position plays a major role in creating a clean, beautiful, and welcoming experience for our guests and members every day. We are looking for someone who takes pride in outdoor work, enjoys staying active, and cares about attention to detail. Responsibilities Golf Course Maintenance Mow rough, fairways, tees, and greens as assigned Roll greens and maintain course appearance Rake and maintain bunkers Repair divots and ball marks Trim around trees, signs, and landscaping Blow grass clippings off paths and sidewalks Landscaping & Beautification Mulch trees and landscape beds Pull weeds and edge landscape areas Plant and maintain flowers/ornamental grasses Water plants and outdoor planters Assist with seasonal property improvements Property Maintenance Pick up trash around the property Clean patios, walkways, and outdoor seating areas Assist with setup/teardown for events Help maintain a clean and professional appearance across the property Report maintenance or safety issues to management Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform landscape tasks such as trimming, edging, planting, and mulching Maintain lawns by mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and applying weed control measures Inspect and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and prevent leaks or malfunctions Support general landscaping activities including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining garden beds Conduct routine landscape maintenance to keep outdoor areas clean, healthy, and visually appealing Assist with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing (if applicable), and preparing grounds for special events or activities Collaborate with team members to execute maintenance plans efficiently while adhering to safety standards Skills Experience with irrigation systems, landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, and horticulture practices Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes along with power tools like trimmers and blowers Knowledge of landscaping techniques including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and soil preparation Ability to operate equipment safely and perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to groundskeeping tasks Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards outdoor work in various weather conditions Basic understanding of safety procedures related to the use of gardening equipment and chemicals .
