Grounds Maintenance Team Member Duties and Responsibilities:

In this position, you will provide outdoor grounds and lawn maintenance services across various contract locations, helping to keep properties clean, safe, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include completing routine tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, leaf removal, and seasonal cleanups while safely operating and maintaining groundskeeping equipment. You will take pride in ensuring all equipment is clean, in good working condition, and promptly reported if damaged. Following safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential, as is working collaboratively with your team to complete assigned tasks efficiently. You will also be responsible for communicating any issues, incidents, or customer concerns in a timely manner. This role may require occasional overtime, along with flexibility to take on additional duties as needed to support the team's success. Qualifications Experience in grounds maintenance preferred Valid NYS Driver's License required with acceptable driving record Skills & Requirements Knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.) Ability to follow safety rules and use PPE Basic reading, writing, and communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical outdoor work in varying weather Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
