Non-Competitive. Salary commensurate with experience and training. Salary range starting at $48,449 GENERALRESPONSIBILITIES
The work involves responsibility for the performance of routine grounds maintenance activities. Work is carried out in accordance with established procedures and involves a variety of tasks related to the maintenance of grounds and equipment. Work is performed under the general supervision of a higher level employee. Does related work as required.WORK SCHEDULE
Full Time, 12 Month Position Monday through Friday, 7am-3pmSPECIFIC DUTIES

Incumbents in this title may perform some or all of the following, as well as other related activities not described. Mows, rakes and cuts grass; Operates grounds keeping machinery and equipment; Performs minor maintenance to grounds keeping machinery and equipment; Maintains athletic fields; Keeps grounds free of litter; Plants and cares for trees, shrubs and plants; Removes snow and ice from walks, pathways and steps; May secure buildings and property; May perform routine cleaning and maintenance duties.Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
One year of full-time paid experience, or its part-time equivalent, in park or grounds maintenance activities.AGENCY OVERVIEW
