Groundskeeper

SDK Village Green is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to play a critical role in the success of our property by maintaining and beautifying property grounds and ensuring a safe, clean and visually appealing living environment for our residents. This position is based in Budd Lake, NJ. About the Position As our groundskeeper, you will… Model behavior that is aligned with SDK values when interacting with anyone associated with SDK. Ensure the property (indoor and outdoor) is in pristine and safe condition while meeting all SDK standards. Proactively take measures to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property grounds. Clear garbage and debris across the property and ensure all pathways are clean and accessible. Support the maintenance team with various projects as assigned. Routinely inspect property grounds (indoor and outdoor) to identify potential issues and address as needed. Prepare for inclement weather and safeguard the property (e.g., snow removal or address flooding). Perform all work following SDK policies, procedures, safety and health regulations and applicable laws. Address safety hazards and ensures compliance with health and safety standards. Assist the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks such as removal and installation of appliances. Complete landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, raking, planting and maintaining the health of the grounds if applicable. Performs other related duties proactively and as assigned. About Your Professional Background & Skills A minimum of 1 year of groundskeeping experience in a multifamily environment. Working knowledge of groundskeeping best practices. Exceptional follow-through and attention to detail skills. Great customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with office technology such as MSOffice. Must have reliable transportation and a valid license. Possess stellar references and a stable employment history. Must be able to work with any employer in the US without any restrictions whatsoever. The gross hourly pay range for this position is $17-18. The actual compensation will be based on factors unique to the candidate, including direct years of experience and depth of knowledge.
