Groundskeeper

Position Summary BC Customs LLC is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance and functionality of our facility grounds and exterior work areas. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and wants to be part of a growing defense manufacturing operation. Core Responsibilities Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawn areas around the facility Remove weeds, litter, and debris from grounds, parking areas, and perimeter Perform seasonal tasks including snow removal, salting walkways, leaf cleanup, and sprinkler checks Maintain landscaped beds, gravel areas, and exterior signage visibility Keep outdoor storage yards organized, including material racks and vehicle staging areas Empty exterior trash and recycling receptacles Perform routine cleaning of exterior surfaces, windows, dock areas, and entryways Inspect and perform basic maintenance on groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers) Assist with light facility upkeep tasks as directed (painting, minor repairs, moving materials) Report safety hazards, equipment issues, or property damage to management Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision No prior experience required — willingness to learn and strong work ethic valued above all Preferred (Not Required) Experience operating landscaping equipment Basic mechanical aptitude U.S. person status (required for any future cross-training into production support roles due to ITAR-controlled work onsite)
