Availability:

Primarily looking for support on a flexible basis, roughly 10-15 hours per week .

Key Tasks:

Mowing, trimming, mulching, and general grounds upkeep to ensure the resort stays guest-ready.

Location:

On-site at River Ridge Inn in Norfork. This is an independent contractor position . We are looking for someone dependable who can meet our project specifications and maintain the high standards our guests expect. Interested? Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to keep outdoor areas neat and attractive Maintain gardens by planting, watering, fertilizing, mulching, and removing weeds to promote healthy growth Operate power tools such as lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently Assist with irrigation system setup, inspection, repair, and adjustments to ensure proper watering of all landscaped areas Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and spades for planting or soil preparation tasks Conduct routine inspections of outdoor spaces to identify issues such as pest infestations or damaged landscape features Support general outdoor maintenance including debris removal, trash collection, fencing repairs, and surface cleaning Qualifications Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape practices is a plus Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively Basic understanding of irrigation systems and lawn care techniques Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards outdoor upkeep Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately Join us in creating beautiful outdoor environments!
