Join Our Team at Valor Behavioral Health! Are you passionate about guiding individuals on their journey to recovery? Valor Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Group Facilitator to lead evidence-based, engaging, and supportive group therapy sessions on Saturdays, with potential weekday opportunities for individuals in our Residential and Outpatient programs.

Based on experience About Us Valor Behavioral Health is dedicated to providing top-tier mental health and substance use treatment. Our team of professionals is committed to creating a supportive, healing environment for individuals seeking recovery.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate group therapy sessions for 6-14 participants using clinically appropriate psycho-education and evidence-based interventions. Utilize various treatment approaches, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Emotional Regulation & Relapse Prevention Skills Family Systems & Dynamics in Mental Health and Substance Abuse Psychoeducation Yoga, Meditation, & Breathwork (if applicable) Encourage participation, engagement, and personal growth within a safe and supportive group dynamic. Uphold all policies, procedures, and ethical standards of Valor Behavioral Health. Complete group notes within 24 hours of each session. Communicate any concerns about the treatment environment to the Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field. Must have current Certificate of Liability Insurance CCDC Certification (or equivalent Alcohol & Drug Counselor Certification) recognized by the appropriate state board. Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT preferred but not required). 2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment. Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, EMR systems). Understanding of 12-Step Programs (preferred). Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). If in personal recovery, must have at least 2 years of sobriety.
