Group Home / Direct Care Worker (Weekday & Weekend Positions)

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Direct Care Workers to join our team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential group home setting. Candidates must be patient, professional, and able to work effectively with individuals who may display behavioral challenges. This position focuses on promoting independence, maintaining a safe and clean home environment, and providing quality support and supervision to individuals served. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must pass Level 2 Background Screening Reliable transportation required 1-2 years experience working with individuals with disabilities and behaviors preferred All required APD training courses completed Ability to work assigned shifts consistently Strong communication and teamwork skills Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living skills and independence training Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout the home Prepare meals and assist with cooking Participate in recreational and community activities Provide supervision and behavioral support as needed Some hand-over-hand assistance may be required Complete required documentation and reports Perform additional duties as assigned by management
